The two-week Carbonell Awards celebration coincides with the Theatre League of South Florida's annual spring theater festival, featuring discount packages to participating theaters in greater Miami, Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches.

The award ceremony will be held promptly at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 7 at the prestigious Broward Center for the Performing Arts' Amaturo Theatre -- followed by a gala celebration for all winners and patrons in the theater lobby and courtyard.

Special invitation-only receptions before the show include a gala nominees' tribute on March 24, and a gala dinner for sponsors and VIP's on April 7 immediately before the ceremony itself.

The nominees' reception pays tribute to all of this year's nominees on Monday, March 24 at the ArtServe complex in Holiday Park, Fort Lauderdale. Carbonell directors, administration and voting panelists will honor nominees in the presence of award sponsors, Theatre League of South Florida representatives and theater managements.

The pre-ceremony President's Dinner Gala will be hosted by the Carbonell Board of Directors for Award sponsors and VIP's at the Josephine Leiser Opera Center, just across the Riverwalk Esplanade from the theater.
